Setting up the Kitchen

After the boats are tied, pick a spot for the kitchen.  Look for a large flat area, convenient to the boats so you don’t have to carry things too far, but well above the high water mark.  If the wind has been picking up, look for trees or boulders that could be used as wind breaks.  Usually the Cook Crew responsible for meals at this camp will have final say on the kitchen set up.
